Lynx hunting season

Lynx hunting season here in Latvia has started December 1. This year it is allowed to bag or harvest 150 individuals. The hunting is possible according to the lynx Species Protection Plan.
By December 12, 2011, already 18 animals have been harvested. This means that there are quite a lot of these animals in our country and lynx population is stable.

By January 2 36 lynx have been bagged out of 150. This year the huting is not as succesful as previous year because of the lack of snow.

Lynx hunting season here in Latvia contunues. By January 30 122 of 150 animals have already been harvested.

According to State Forest Service by February 14 already 126 lynxs have been bagged. As driven hunting season has come to an end, the hunters are less active, so less lynx are being harvested.

Our lynx hunting season is almost over, 146 out of 150 lynx have been bagged.
