It is illegal to hunt with a bow in Russia. But perhaps soon there will be changes in legislation. I want to ask what kind of bow best fits the beginner?

It is the same in Latvia - it is illegal. I heard, that in USA it is allowed. Maybe there is some hunter who have experience with bow? I would also hear some tipps. |

I suggest to choose good bow at the beginning. Do not buy a cheap bow!!! Search for bow ~700-1000 Eur... for example Hoyt, Mathews, Bowtech something about 50 lbs and up... ...better pay attention how to choose arrow rest, arrows, sights...ect, specially for hunting - everything must be chosen for maximum silent and comfort! For now in Latvia hunting with bow is forbidden. But Latvian Bow Hunters and Latvian Hunters association is prepared documents for changing the hunting law. So, we have just to wait a little bit ! :) |
