SWAROVSKI OPTIK Presents Two New Products

With the latest generation of its tried-and-tested Z6 rifle scope and the new EL 32 SWAROVISION hunting binoculars, SWAROVSKI OPTIK is adding two new, technically and optically perfect hunting companions, which are exceptionally easy to use. The Z6 2nd generation rifle scope will go on sale from 1 February and the EL 32 SWAROVISION from 1 May 2012.

“Based on our experience with the 6x zoom during the last 5 years and an extensive exchange of opinions with hunters around the world, I am particularly pleased that we have surprised our customers with the new Z6 2nd generation rifle scope. Our development team has successfully further enhanced the unique aspect of the original model with a 6x zoom facility, which allows it to meet our customers’ demands even more extensively,” explains Carina Schiestl-Swarovski, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of SWAROVSKI OPTIK.

Technical perfection with a new elegant style

The scope’s slimmer design is the feature that will immediately strike you, which is now in keeping with all current hunting weapons. The narrower, low illumination unit also means that you can use the illuminated reticle in a specific, reliable manner. Thanks to SWAROLIGHT technology, the rifle scope uses a tilt sensor to detect independently whether the weapon is in a shooting position. When the weapon is picked up, the illuminated reticle is ready for use very quickly, allowing the marksman to concentrate fully on the hunt. This saves time and energy. The improved electronics also increase the battery life. A further enhancement has been made to the day/night switch to prevent it from turning on accidentally.

New features have also been added to the ballistic and parallax turrets to make using the scope more intuitive when hunting. The parallax turret now has a catch at the 100-metre mark. This means that it can be set accurately and easily to the usual “100m mark” during twilight. A catch is now incorporated in the established ballistic turret. This ensures that it can be set at the downrange distance you want only after you have released the catch.

Exceptional optics for the crucial moment

Razor-sharp optics offer excellent edge-to-edge sharpness with exceptional comfort, allowing rapid target acquisition during flush hunting. The high-contrast image shows its benefits when hunting in poor lighting conditions. The high-magnification models (higher than 15x) also have HD optics to ensure an accurate shot over long distances. The SWAROCLEAN coating applied for the first time to the SWAROVSKI OPTIK rifle scopes makes it easier to clean water marks, insect repellent, gun oil or tree resin, thanks to its special non-stick characteristics.

Constantly improving what is good

The current successful models in the Z6 range have already sold more than 100,000 units. The Z6 2nd generation is able to impress with its practically orientated feature enhancements. In addition to crystal-clear optics that are second to none, it also offers hunters unprecedented comfort. Eight different models are available, catering for every individual need and all the diverse forms of hunting. This ensures that hunters can focus on the main business when hunting.

EL 32 SWAROVISION: The new hunting binoculars from SWAROVSKI OPTIK

The size and weight of the binoculars are crucial factors particularly for hunters who are on the move and have to compromise between compact design and optical performance.

“The EL 32 is my personal favourite for when I’m travelling or at home in the mountains. They are compact, light and provide a crystal-clear view, which allows me to make out the smallest details in clear and sharp focus, even in poor viewing conditions,” highlights Carina Schiestl-Swarovski, Chairwoman of the Executive Board of SWAROVSKI OPTIK.

Indeed, SWAROVSKI OPTIK has yet again produced a masterpiece with the EL 32 SWAROVISION: compact EL binoculars with uncompromising SWAROVISION technology, along with their renowned, impressive ergonomic and classic design. At 580 grams they are even lighter than the previous model.

Top marks for optics and luminosity

The EL 32 SWAROVISION binoculars are synonymous with crystal-clear image quality. This is guaranteed by the superior SWAROVISION technology developed by SWAROVSKI OPTIK. For instance, field flattener lenses produce a virtually flat image, thereby providing perfect edge-to-edge image sharpness. The HD optics reduce colour fringing, creating maximum colour contrast, while optimised coatings (SWAROTOP, SWAROBRIGHT, SWARODUR, SWAROCLEAN) make for true-to-life, brighter images.

Maximum comfort for all users

With SWAROVISION technology, the EL 32 SWAROVISION binoculars offer an impressive unrestricted wide-angle field of view of 141 m at 8x magnification and 120 m at 10x magnification. Thanks to the larger exit pupil distance typical of this range of binoculars, spectacle wearers can also fully enjoy the crystal-clear image quality. The twist-in eyecups can be adapted individually to the person’s requirements in four stages.

The EL 32 SWAROVISION binoculars also stand for the ultimate in ergonomic design and are sure to impress right from the start. As the only EL binoculars with a 32-mm lens, they come with the fully functional, legendary EL wrap-around grip, which guarantees users maximum stability during observation, even with just one hand. The large, grooved focusing wheel is particularly reliable and can also be easily operated when wearing gloves.
